What it is

Three things it does.

PLAY

A scorecard with a caddie built in

Live group scoring from every phone in the cart. Ted reads real GPS yardages to the front, centre and back, adjusts for wind, and tells you which club gets there.

TRACK

Real stats. Real handicap.

Fairways, greens, putts, score mix and a handicap index that updates as you play — auto-calculated from your rounds, or set by hand if you already carry one.

COMPETE

The games your group already plays

Skins, Wolf, Nassau, team events and Ted's own house rules — with net scoring handled automatically, so nobody has to be the one with the spreadsheet.

See it

Straight off the course.

Settle the rivalry. Head-to-head records, win streaks, leagues and circuits, and every round you've logged.

Between rounds

The Shot Doctor.

  • Log your range shots so every yardage call is built on how far you really hit it, not the number on the club.
  • Diagnose a miss. Pick the club, where it started, how it curved and how you caught it — get the fault and the fix.
  • Spot the pattern. "Your go-to miss lately is the fade / slice — 7 of your last 10 logged shots." Then go fix that one.
  • Carry it to the course. Your real distances feed straight back into Ted's club calls.

Meet Ted

Your caddie has opinions — and all the yardages.

Ted is a golf ball with opinions about club selection. He knows the yardages, and he learns how far you hit each club.

Ted scowling It's a 7-iron. It was a 7-iron last time, too.
Ted giving side-eye Playing 160 into this wind. Take the extra club.
Ted grinning Water on the left. No reason. Just saying.
Ted delighted A par?! Frame it. Show your kids.

The games

The games your group already loves, scored properly.

The classics, with handicaps and net scoring applied automatically. Set the game up on the first tee and TeedOff does the math.

Classic variants

Skins

Every hole's worth something. Carryovers stack up, so a late hole can be worth several.

Wolf

Pick a partner off the tee, or go alone for a bigger share.

Nassau

Front, back, overall. Three bets, one round, endless presses.

Match Play

Head to head, hole by hole — win more holes than the other player.

Stableford

Points for good holes. One blow-up can't sink you — swing away.

Bingo Bango Bongo

First on, closest on, first in. Any skill level can rob anybody.

Team events

Scramble

Everyone hits, the team plays the best one. One card, one score.

Best Ball

Play your own ball; the team takes the best number on the hole.

Shamble

Best drive, then everybody plays their own from there.

Alternate Shot

One ball, two players, turn about.

Vegas

Two scores become one number, so one bad hole hits both of you.

Leagues & Circuits

Season standings for your crew, or a circuit you compete in from any course.

Net everything. Handicaps apply automatically in every mode, so every match is a fair fight — whatever you shoot.

Ted's Variants

Six house games.

House rules layered over a real round, with your scorecard untouched underneath. Golf War is a card game played across your 18 — draw on every tee, run espionage, minefields and covert missions. Territory makes you win a hole outright to own it. Then Hole Draft (draft the course, defend your picks), Blind Bets (call the winner before anyone swings), Club Roulette (the wheel picks your tee club) and Share a Bag (one bag, no repeats).

EARLY ALPHA

Your course probably isn't mapped. Play it anyway.

Most courses have never been mapped.

1 · PICK IT

Any course, mapped or not

Search for where you're playing. If it isn't in the catalogue yet, TeedOff adds it and prepares it while you wait — about a minute, and only the first time anyone plays there.

2 · DROP TEE

Face the green, drop the tee

Start the round, then swipe left off the scorecard to the map. On a hole nobody has mapped yet you'll get one button: DROP TEE AND FACE THE GREEN. Stand on the tee, point the phone straight down the hole and press it — it reads your position and which way you're facing, so pointing the wrong way gives you the wrong hole. First visit to a course, expect a couple of minutes while it prepares.

3 · PLAY IT

Your shots build the hole

You get the line, the green and live yardages straight away, with a keep-or-redo bar until you accept it. Drop a marker where each shot finishes and the score fills itself in. What you map stays with that round on your phone — nothing goes to the shared catalogue, so it won't reach the people you're playing with.

This part is still rough.

Auto-mapping is in early alpha. It will get holes wrong. It will draw lines through trees. It will sometimes miss a green entirely, or hand you a yardage that is plainly nonsense.

None of that is a surprise to us and none of it should stop your round — the scorecard, the stats and the games all work whether the map is right or not. Tell us what it got wrong and it gets better for everyone who plays that course next.
